I closed my account and when I got a bill paid in full 134.00, now I find out it was reported to the credit agency paid at collection which is now hurting my credit. I never got a bill before the one I paid. Would never let a bill go into collection. I have called Verizon collection dept about 6 times and no one will help and no supervisor is ever around and be told a supervisor will call me and as of today 5 days later, no call. I am still a customer of Verizon and no one wants to help get this fix. Because of the paid at collection on my report my score drop. its sad that no one can help find it the problem after being a loyal customer for over 5 years and 10 years with cell phone. Will not recommend Verizon to anyone, as they can ruin your credit. The account is now in my husband name and once contract is up. We will not renew along with our cell phone plan. Now I am not able to buy a home due to the credit report only verizon
Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.
Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.
To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".
