Help removing Verizon from my credit report

Hi I had fios service a year or 2 ago and decided that it didn't fit my needs so I cancelled the services. Unfortunately I was left with a 300 cancelation fee that Was never resolved and I recently found out that it has been sold to a collection agency. I'm not trying to disput the bill I've already paid half and we'll make my final Payment shortly. I would like to know if there is any possible way to get this item removed from my report.

Good luck with getting anything resolved with Verizon.  Their customer service at the exectuive level is just as horrible at the bottom! Wish you the best!
