IPTV canceled, will not honor existing contract. HELP!

So I agreed to assist Verizon by Beta testing their new IPTV service.  The trial is ending and my only choice to retain existing service is to agree to a new contarct that raises my bill by $50 per month.  Why?

Probably because the service failed, and the regular service prices are higher.

you are also an existing customer so Verizon does not give many lower options.

You could just move to cable. Since the contract is voided due to Verizon not offering the service anymore.

Appeal to the people involved, they might make an exception and at least get you back to previous prices.
