Never mind, when i downloaded the PDF version of my current bill I found this at the bottom

FiOS Rate Increase

This is a reminder that pricing for your FiOS Bundle, FiOS TV, or FiOS

Internet plan has increased this month. We offer many other bundle

options that can help you get the most for your money. Go to

verizon.com/fios/2vu or call 1-866-905-2199 to learn about new

bundle options and you may also be eligible for a special offer when

you switch to a new FiOS Bundle with a two-year agreement and

two-year bundle price guarantee.

I enrolled in paperless billing, I wish there had been a paper bill sent this time around at least to make me aware of the change ahead of time.

Since you signed up 2 years ago my first guess is that your agreement ended.  Price increases are normal at the end of agreements or when promotions expire.

If you compare this bill with the previous one you will be able to see which items changed.  Look at the details for a better picture of what changed.

Thanks for the reply, I forgot to mention I never signed up for a 2 year contract I was a month to month customer. Comparing my current bill with my previous the only changes are:

11/10     12/9     FiOS Internet 15/5    64.99

12/10      1/9      FiOS Internet 15/5     72.99

I'm just finding out about the price increase!!! 😞 What a shock! Not a word was mentioned on my last month's bill. To add to the insult, when I log on to MyVeriozon online, the old rate is still displayed! Sorry that it's not letting me give 'kudos' for your post.

Yep, my FIOS internet went up by 16% to be exact.  I find that a pretty steep increase.  I am looking for other DSL options.  I'm fed up.

$72.99 for 15/5 is $3 over their advertise rate of $69.99/month or a two year contract that costs $49.99/month for 1 year then $69.99 for months 13 onwards.

I'm not sure how much $3/month is of value to you but it appears you can save a couple of dollars by calling and cancel then sign up for the new deal.

No, you won't get the $64.99 rate by calling them.

Mine too.  Not a word until I got my bill today.  I am definitely considering my options.  I have other choices in my market plus wireless is getting better for much less.
