got notified that my 2 year contract is expiring. Want to renew my current contract with no upgrades. Was told that unless i decrease services or return equipment I cannot renew for my current pricing. Will increase by at least 20.00. Or I can just not renew and go month to month being subject to monthly changes in my pricing. This is unacceptable! I have been a customer for at least 10 years. It seems that new accounts get all the benefits and deals!!

Simple way is to cancel service and hop over to another provider in your location.
verizon may jump at trying to retain you. However I would look into the other service install first, set a date for installation and then when you threaten to cancel Verizon will know you are serious and then see what is offered. DO NOT TAKE ANY CONTRACTS
get everything in writing with no additions or modifications of what you agreed to.
make sure to repeat continuously “no contract” then you should be ok.
if Verizon balks then you walk. Be proactive and firm. Do not back down.
Good Luck
