I log into my bank account to check my balance today and find that Verizon has taken $231.45. This of course prompts me to log on to Verizon and I see Verizon took payments on 8/30/13 and 9/13/13 for 231.45. Verizon currently shows I now have a -237.76 balance with no further payments due. However, I now have a negative balance with my bank account which will surely cause further issues. I attempted contact Verizon via a chat but the chat function is currently unavailable. I need this amount refunded otherwise I’m going incur further overdraft and late fee for other bills. Please help!
Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
