Verizon Charge Off Credit Bureaus

Hello,

It came to my attention that verizon is on my credit report as a Paid Charge Off. Will verizon, if asked, remove it from my credit report ?

I was still in contact with verizon disputing my verizon bill when I received a call from a collection agency which I then paid.
