Verizon raised my bill by 15$ so I called to find out why. I was told by a very unhelpful person that they took away my "valued customer" discount. I explained to them that when I originally signed up the rep told me I could get the value customer discount back yearly and all I had to do was call verizon after the 12mos. The rep at that time stated that I received the credit for being a loyal customer. I've have called and had multiple chats but no one can add the credit back. I'm so frustrated and feel like this was a bait and switch to get me signed up. I'm actively working pricing with Comcast and Directv to get a lower and will move on from verizon unless this is fixed ASAP.
This is mainly a peer to peer support forum.
Its possible that this particular discount was discontinued by Verizon (may have been planned to continue at the time you got it the first time).
You can try calling back and either asking for a supervisor or retention department to see if any other discounts can be given to you.
