Verizon has a negative reference on my credit report from 2009.
I initially disputed the the deal – you know – 6 years ago. And now I can't recall what the situation was but I do recall paying off Verizon (more than once) to resolve the situation and not have an open collection on my record.
I've since disputed it's validity.
Now it's showing up as a "Collection Account" on my credit report and is preventing me from getting a home loan.
The refrence says: Account: $0, Ammount Owed: $0, Account Status: "Paid"
How can I get this resolved finally?
