This is hurting my credit score. I closed my account with verizon in 2013 and found out about a year later that my account had been sent to collections. I already contacted verizon and paid the money they asked for. I THEN called them back when the debt was still listed on my experian credit score and they verified that the account had been paid. NOW I'm receiving notification of a SECOND charge on my credit report.
Please stop doing this. It is adversely affecting my life. I need these charges off of my credit report. I paid you. Stop harassing me, please. I am up for security clearance re-investigation and this WILL affect my career. I am stationed in Guam and your offices are closed.
I understand that this is a place to ask the community but every method of getting in contact with this God-awful excuse for a company is down right now so I'm basically hoping employees screen the forums. I will continue to try calling their offices, etc.

I took out a Fios acct with Verizon back in Oct. They never hooked up a landline, but charged me for one. They owe me $320. All they would give me is $156.09. They owe me $320, not $156.09. Also, they got my May payment, but did not accredit it. All they do is harass, run me around in circles. Threaten my acct. Lie to the FCC & the BBB. They will not rectify even though I went into arbitation. Still lying. In three days, I spent 12 hours on the phone & they complain about 23 minutes. They have me so exhausted & not feeling well. I'm so sick of them. They went as far as illegally throwing me off a joint acct & I almost got evicted. All they do is fraud & lie!!
