I finally got my bill down to a reasonable amount and today (2 months later) I get my Fios bill and it’s $23 higher! I called and was told a $30 discount expired and they couldn’t renew it and there wasn’t another available. I then ask what is penalty for cancelling services and it’s ooly $100! That’s exactly what I’m going to do. Clearly Verizon isn’t interested in keeping me as a good paying customer at $137/month for 10 more months. ILl go back fo Xfinity for WiFi and phone since I just started using Netflix and will pay for programs available to me. Done with cable tv and these companies screwing your over. Was willing to stay a customer but Verizon does not care. I’ll pay the $100 penalty.

Its not uncommon for cable providers to have a teaser rate that goes up even though you have a contract. That is part of the deal you signed.

make sure to read the fine print on any deal with Comcast. They may have similar terms.
