Yahoo account log-in redirects to Verizon

Yahoo account error message during log-in redirects to Verizon for resolution. Multiple attempts with both Verizon and Yahoo support has not resolved issue. Yahoo claims can't do anything due to account being tied to Verizon. Verizon says they can't help as they have no record of the Yahoo Account. How do I escalate this issue to next tier of support?
