I have never felt this cheated before. Year ago when I signed up for Verizon Fios, the rep. gave me a free year of HBO to sweeten the deal. Later on, I signed up for paper-free billing and let Verizon auto charge my credit card to avoid late fees. Yesterday I logged in for some other reasons (receiving tons of spam emails in Inbox out-of-the blue. They turned off Spam detector?) and discovered Verizon has been charging me months of HBO. Contacted virtual rep. and was told after the free period, Verizon kicked in the regular package price. Well, the mistake was on my part for not checking the bill so no more paper-free billing, and no more auto-charge. Lesson learned.
