refusal of refund and notification of bill

Verizon has bad service they send you a notification about your bill every 2 months i was talking to them about that issue and they said they couldn't give me a refund because i supposedly still used their service and it **bleep** me off  how they are so greedy and they over charge you when there are companies with better service and better deals charges 100000000000? this is just how much they make by over charging people
