Anyone know what the silver / chrome button does in the headphone cord? It pushes in but I couldn't tell what it did? Maybe reverses left and right?

It will answer/end calls or pause/play music depending on what you're doing.

Thank you for that info. I was on the earbuds while in the store and a call came in and it auto interupted the music. When I hung up, it auto resumed the music, how cool is that?

Its funny how we all have these questions and then feel funny about asking. I had the same question and just blundered along until I discovered what it was when a phone came in while I was listening to music and I frantically tried the silver button thinking to turn the volume down with it and discovered, wow!, it connected the call and I could hear on my ear buds. Felt like an idiot but immediately called my daughter who just got a Tour also to show her how smart I was and then she spoiled my day by asking, "you didn't read the directions did you?" Don't know if there were any but I wasn't going to admit to her that I hadn't even looked for them. Good luck and enjoy the "tour".

Actually I have a Storm, sldo there is a mic in the silver button area so the calls are clearer. I do not like the style of the ear buds they hurt the inside of my ears. I am going to switch and get the kind that actually go in the ear canal and have the same button control and mike.
