I bought my blackberry curve new, from a Verizon store, less than four months ago. About two weeks ago, the cursor on the phone started to scroll on it's own (upwards) when I was typing text messages. If I kept my finger over the trackpad it would stop long enough for me to get a message out. Now, the blackberry scrolls on its own and there's nothing I can do. Sometimes, the cursor will stick and I cannot move it at all. I've seen lots of posts about trackpad issues with this particular device, but no definitive answer on what's wrong with the phone. I have tried taking the battery out. Please advice.
Thanks.

It should still be under warranty - however you will get a refurbished model.
Did you install any new apps, games, etc just before this started? I've had apps cause really bizarre behavior that stopped once I uninstalled and rebooted.
If it IS a defective trackpad, your best option is a warranty replacement. I purchased a refurbished BB Bold a year and a half ago and it has been an excellent device.
