Attempting to power up 8330 but, have a animated pic of a battery with a "lightning bolt" when patched in through the PC. Once disconnected from PC 8330 will not even turn on??
That means that there is not enough power going to the phone. Your USB connection may not be putting out enough juice. Try a real wall charger and let it charge for about 5 minutes and the lightning bolt should go away. It can also happen after the battery hasn't been used for some time and it's completely drained.
