Update headache

so i have been trying to update the software on my Pearl Flip for two days now. Every time i try to update it runs for ten minutes of the two hours it says it will take and quits with an error message

 

"uncaught exception:application net_rim_bb_messaging_app(185) is not responding process terminated"

 

i have no idea how to resolve this and dont want to have to go to a verizon store and deal with them over this.....

Do you have the latest Desktop Manager Software?  I would check that first.

I apologize for the inconvenience you have received while trying to update your Blackberry software. I recommend deleting your Blackberry Messenger from your phone then downloading the update via desktop manager. Once you have successfully received the OS update and restarted your device then I would re-download the Blackberry Messenger. Make sure you backup your BBM contacts to one of your email accounts before you delete it so you will not lose any of your contacts. Hope this helps.
