VZAccess & Blackberry 8830 tethering issue

I am using VZAccess Manager (v6.1) + BB8830 tethering for internet access on my laptop.   When I am connected, everything works fine.  However, when I disconnect from the tethering session, I am not able to re-connect unless rebooting my PC.  The error message is:

"A connection to the remote computer could not be established.  You might need to change the network settings for this connection.  For further assistance, click More Info or search Help and Support Center for this error number."

Any ideas?
