I mistakenly bought a locked At&t Iphone 6s from Groupon.  Am I going to be able to get it unlocked and use it with Verizon? If so do I have to have At&t unlock it?

Only AT&T would be able to unlock it and you would likely have to be an AT&T customer for a minimum period of time before they would be willing to do so. You could always try selling it on a site such as swappa.com, just be sure to indicate it is an AT&T phone.
