MiFi 7730L has software version 1P dated in 2016! I have checked for new version (with strong signal) multiple times but it always says I have the latest software. However, I know I don't because the latest is 3.5 from August 2018.
Why can't it find the current software and how do I make it find it?

I'm glad to hear that you're keeping your device software up to date, RobStl. We're glad to provide additional information regarding software. The newest update for the MiFi 7730L was recently released as you mentioned. The new software is not released to all devices at once, rather it is released in waves to ensure the update is successfully processed. You will be able to update by following these steps when it is available for your device: https://vz.to/2wvi1NI or by using the instructions to update through the Admin Web Interface at the bottom of the page. Does this help clarify things for you?

Thank you for your response. I know how to update the firmware. The issue is that it has the original firmware 1P dated 2016. Verizon has released multiple updates since. Are you saying that if the latest version is not yet available to a particular device, then no previous versions are either?
