Can not log on to Community Forum

I'm having login trouble with the forum and the email address they provide for support, "verizon.community@verizon.com" is bouncing email.  I emailed support and they referred me to the automated help which in turn referred me to the community forum, so I've gone full circle.  I greated a temporary id just so I can ask for help here.  I apologize for posting here but I have no other alternatives.

Whenever I try to post a message on the forums I'm asked to sign in.  I opt to use my residential user id and password.  (This same login and password works just fine for all other Verizon services.) After I enter that, I'm redirected to a screen entitled "User Profile Information".  It's already populated with the correct data so I click Submit.  After I submit, it returns to the same "User Profile Information" screen.  This cycle repeats and I never get the opportunity to post.

This worked just a day ago.

Can someone please assist in fixing this?

I hit a problem like that on Sunday.  Looked like a server was out then.  And I experienced the same email bounce you mentioned when trying to report it.

Automated response is of course useless for this kind of problem.  Live chat was not availabe at the time.  A regular support email got s silly response that showed the person responded did not read my report as they talked about how to correct your logon to email.  It was strictly a signon to the community forums problem, I was able to  log into my verizon and see email with no problem.

Hi-

So sorry you're having this issue! Can you please send me a Private Message (by the envelope icon on the top right of the page) with the ID that isn't working. I'll see what I can do on my end.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, over a month later, this is still not fixed.

I'm frustrated.

You don't think Verizon really wants all us YAHOOS to be using up their space and time....do you?

They make this part of their service extremely difficult and unfriendly so you will get disgusted and

go back to FACEBOOK !!

You need entirely too much useless attached information...passwords...user id's....mother's maiden name...

I can contribute to a Maylasian Cooking Program faster and easier than I can post a gripe on Verizon.

Think about all your experiences online and tell if VERIZON really wants to hear your goofy problems.

Even when you contact VERIZON by telephone...if you can...without answering 12 questions...and going

around in circles...you usually end up with the wrong person/department/provider/region/etc.....

Just try to talk to a "suit" about a major problem. It's easier to reach the President of the United States.

Got a problem???  Ignore it.  Go make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich...the problem will go away.

And everybody will be happy.

Remember: Neurotics have problems. Psychotics have answers.

I am having difficulty signing into "my account".  I managed to create a new community only ID, but not with my normal account.   If I try to register or signin, then whenever I attempt to access verizon.com, my screen sits there blinking between grey and white.  This happens repeatedly.  Only way I have found to cure it and access the rest of verizon web pages is to find a cookie and delete it.

Typical Verizon.  So far, I can still log in (I might jinx myself by saying something), but, my voice mail disappeared and I can no longer access it.  I tried doing it online, but, got a message that I have to call customer service on the phone, which I always dread doing.  I do have a great answering machine that I get messages from immediately without having to dial a number, then a passcode, then 1 for this or 2 for that, then walking on the walls and ceiling and swinging from a ceiling fan and maybe finally getting the messages that I have, by that time, possibly forgotten about.

So, I guess I will call customer service and spend the majority of the day with someone in India trying to get his set up.

Sorry for whining.  But, I am sure I am not the only one.

I wonder why i couldnt use my verizon fios account info to log in on this site. Its sad. I had to basically create another account just to log in here. Such a disgrace. Why cant i just sign in with the account info i already have when i signed up for this crap black out constant service?

I just had same issue. I can log in to my account but then i have to log in to community.  It didnt work for me. Then i just tried sign in again... nope.  Then the third or 4th time it did log in finally.  Very strange. This site has always been tricky with all the log ins and multiple log ins, but I could always get it to work eventually. This one was a challenge but i cracked it.  I actually tried it again and same deal. I had to go thru multiple cycles and then i was in.  Strange but true.  Came here to complain ab the remote i bought from them that skips channels!
