A forum is only helpful if someone answers questions. It appears that Verizon doesn't support this forum in any way as they don't have employees providing answers. Could someone suggest what the purpose of it is other than to let people express their frustration.

Just a friendly reminder, this is a forum where users help other users. If your issue requires a Verizon representative to review your account details, please contact our customer service team via live chat or email at: http://www22.verizon.com/content/contactus/

Thanks. Good point.
It just seems that most users of the forum don't know anything about the Home Monitoring system because of it being so new. The Verizon line is very helpful and responsive but they only offer advice on the specifics of installation and operation.
Many questions relate to topics not covered under that. If someone from Verizon (like you did hear) could monitor the questions and offer quick advice it would make the site so much more useful.
