I would like an option to disable rollover pop-ups on the web pages. See the attached screen grab for an example.
I don't find those pop-ups useful and they're distracting. If I need something provided by a link, let me click on it to bring up the menu.
Other's may disagree. How about a user option?

I agree for the links at the top of the page (only). Mousing over the links at the top of the page and getting the pop-ups is annoying beyond belief, and it is pretty much a cold day in **** when I use those things anyway. If you can't get rid of the pop-ups, or provide an option, please, please, please at least introduce a delay of maybe 1 to 2 seconds that the mouse must be on the link before the pop-up appears.
One thing though: please do not remove the pop-ups for individual thread titles, I use those a lot to determine what the real subject of a thread is, and whether it is something I might be able to answer or help with.
Thank you.

Well, I could live with the rollover pop-ups for thread titles. But I find the pop-ups when rolling over the author of a thread, or a reply, to be annoying as are those at the top of the page.
Again, if I want to see the details about a forum member let me click on the link.

Agreed, I fogot about the pop-ups over the author.

Now we'll just have to wait and see if anyone that matters agrees with us.
Yeah. . . those pesky pop up varmits.
I'll make sure the "powers that be" get your requests.
It's funny, KaLin, but your calling them varmits bring to mind "Whack-A-Mole." Pretty good analogy.
Thanks for passing the suggestion along.
Hi, y'all. I could really use a "wack a mole" game sometimes.
Well...to answer your question/ comment on your statements. Most find the roll over for the forums posts to be very helpful and the Verizon Community was given praise that roll over text is even for the author stats by an outside research firm. When I am looking at posts as an admin I find that scrolling over the author and having stats in front of me is sometimes helpful. I have learned to "ignore" them when I don't need them.
Drop-down on the header...our hands are tied here right now since this is the corporate Verizon.com website strategy, but I will keep this feedback handy.
I think that this comment about the drop-down header would be a great item to add to the Verizon Idea Exchange! Who wants to be the first one to give constructive feedback? That is the best mechanism to get your feedback to Verizon product line managers.
Keep this great feedback comin' . We be listening!

Consider it done!
Thanks and Happy New Year.
