cannot login to forums with my verizon id

I don't know if it's the presence of a "." or what, but I cannot use the forums with "chip.christian"; I had to create a community id.

This means that I'm locked out from the 1.9 Beta forum, for instance.  I meant to post this during the beta period 😉

Not sure if we have the same issue. I've been trying for days to log on without being able to. Same user ID same password each time. Sometimes I get sent to the update profile page and can't get passed that (says that e-mail is already taken). Sometimes I just have to reenter over and over again my username and password. I'm on my 2nd username and both have done the same thing. I will have access for a few days and then I'm shut out. I sent an e-mail to the community mod but didn't get a reply. That was about 2 weeks ago. Any input would be great.
