I have used the Travel Pass plan before on international trips, but I do not remember if unanswered calls activate the service.  If I do not answer a call will it still cause me to have to pay the $10 for that day.

I hope you have a great trip out of the country. TravelPass is a wonderful way to get access to your domestic plan while travelling.

A 24-hour session is triggered by: 

Outgoing/Incoming call (the call must be answered)

Outgoing text

Data usage including background data/automatic updates

Checking voicemail from the device

A 24-hour session is not triggered by:

Incoming texts

Calls to Verizon Customer Service

Unanswered incoming calls
