Is TravelPass activated per account or per device?

I am travelling to Italy and just want to text while I am there, the other couples are all on Verizon, we just want to be able to text one another during the trip, no plans to call. The travel pass? for $10/day is it for all phones on the plan? or $10 each line?

It is $10 per line.

If it is only texting and you think it will be less than 100 texts, you may look to add the $40 1 month international plan that will give you 100 outgoing texts/100 minutes of calls/100 MB of data and unlimited incoming texts.
