Phone started to have no dial tone yesterday(just a loud buzz). I've tried unplugging everything as per the website, but still no luck on any of the phone jacks. I'm confused why the phone wouldn't work, but the DSL connection works without any issues. Have a call in but won't be here until next week.
Any suggestions?

Do you have a NID you can take a wired phone out to in order to see if the service works correctly outside? A loud humming usually indicates a 60Hz hum from electrical wiring. A broken wire from a pair can cause this, along with some severely unshielded cabling or a short, and grounding issues. A DSL modem can connect just fine if one of two wire pairs remain intact and connected, however the capacity of the line is usually significantly decreased if this occurs.
Your NID is usually located on the outside of your home as a grey box, or it could also be located on an extension pole on your property (if you needed one in order to receive services). The NID will usually be located where your Electrical Panel or Meter is if it's in your home. See this for more help: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/1317
