The company I work for is developing a utility that makes use of local web sockets for various features. We use secure web sockets so we have a domain name associated with localhost. For example, ouraddress.com resolves to 127.0.0.1.
However, users with Verizon Fios seem to always have issues connecting. It's not until the change their DNS to Google that the issue goes away.
We need to understand the issue so we can solve this for our users. Does anyone have information on this?
