My setup is my Fios Modem is located in my basement where my main desktop computer is. The range of the wifi is pour and the connections on the main floor can be bad at times and disconnect quite often.
I was given advice to connect my apple airport extreme, put it in bridge mode, and connect that to the fios modem with a CAT cable so that the airport extreme is on the main level and the wifi signal is stronger.
I connected everything and changed it to bridge mode. Didn't run it upstairs since I need a longer CAT cable, but I was wondering if there are any other settings I need to change or is this all I need to know?
