Approved DSL Modems

I'm currently using an ancient westell 2200.  Is there a way to obtain an upgrade?

Just ask Verizon to send out a Westell 6100, which they should not have a problem doing considering you have a 2200 right now. As far as approved modems go? You could go out and buy any modem that supports the ADSL standard and it will work.
