Billing during outages

Hello, FIOS in my area has been out for a week due to storm damage. The outage is understandable, but I am wondering - will Verizon prorate my bill due to this extended outage?

Sometimes Verizon will proactively credit bills starting from the day you reported an outage, until the day they know it is fixed, without asking. When asking for repair be sure to also ask for a credit. They'll credit the number of days of service your service has been out. Usually amounts to tens of dollars.

You should call and ask for credit.

I don't think they may to credit for outages.
