I currently own an Actiontec MI424WR Router established by Verizon, and ever since then, I was not able to use the router to log onto Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Connection (lack of an IP address, the error says on the DS).
I believe the problem is with the router, since on it, "Wi-Fi Protected Setup" is mentioned.
Is there a way to disable the "Wi-Fi Protected Setup"?
Thank you!

Actiontec does not support wifi protected setup. Therefore, nothing to disable.
- Where do you see mention of "wifi protected seteup"?
- What revision of the router do you have?
- Have you tried the Nintendo troubleshooting here: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/wrInitialSetupHelp.jsp
- Have you tried manual setup? http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/manualSettingsHelp.jsp

"Wi-Fi Protected Setup" is written under the word "Wireless" on the side of the router. The revision letter is E.
I attempted to adjust the primary and secondary DNS numbers, but that did not work. I'll attempt the manual setup, which I haven't done before.

Nintendo DS

Nintendo DSi

Either of these methods work for you?
