I need to log on to my router to enable port forwarding to host games. I downloaded the manual and tried every conceivable user/pass combo based on what it should be.
admin/password
admin/password1
admin/passwordone
blank/password
blank/password1
in caps, etc.
So I have no idea what the tech set it to.
Now if I reset the modem will I have to do anything to get my internet functioning again or should it be fine at factory settings?
I'm using the MI424WR Rev. D router.
Thanks in advance for any help 😄

I Sometimes use admin1 as a password.
Resetting the modem should be just fine. You will have to create a password once your modem completes rebooting.

The typical combo for logging into the router is admin/password or admin/password1. If you reset the router, you shouldnt have an issue getting back on to the internet. To reset, hold down the red set button for 10 seconds then let go. Wants it comes back, you should be able to set a new admin and password.
