Defective MI424WR?

Just brought a secondary MI424WR Rev D to use as a MOCA bridge on the bay.  First time trying to set this up over COAX. 

I reset the router and logged in but it times out every 30 secs.  I have to power cycle on/off the router before I can get back in again. 

I was wondering if I have a defective router or is there a setting that times out (despite the fact that I've done a hard reset)?

You have to duisable the coax WAN on the second router, otherwise both routers will compete for the WAN DHCP lease.

thanks for the reply. 

no luck.  it was not connected to coax only ethernet to my laptop for inital configuration.  I tried to reflash with the latest build.  Still no luck?  is it a rev D thing?
