Disconinute DCHP and move to static IP allocation

Router documentation does not cover how to configure router for static IP allocation. I need to disable the dynamic IP allocation because my kids are able to establish new connections which invalidates the parental controls.

Would help if you said what router you have. But here is one article on the actiontech
which tells how to change to a static IP address

The process would more than likely be the same on the Quantum Gateway Router
