Dsl internet and use of DHCP

So I was in my routers setting today and I noticed we are using PPPoE instead of DHCP. DHCP is better and i would preffer to use it over PPPoE. But when I changed it nothing would connect to the internet, both wirelessly and eathernet. Any way I can solve this?

Nope, the PPPoE is necessary to authenticate you over the network.
