I'm a new Verizon customer and had my internet installed today. I signed up online for the 100Mbps connection. I had to speak to a sales representative for credit check and was sent an order confirmation link which stated it was an 100Mbps plan and that my first estimated bill as of May 1st will be approx 50ish dollars (after auto pay set up). After the service set up today, i see 1st months estimated bill of over 100$. I called up customer care and they said although they see an email sent to me saying its an 100Mbps connection, it is now 150Mbp hence the bill. The customer service executive was not able to assist me with reviving the older order which i had placed the order for. I do not see links enabled on my account to change my order. I do not understand how my order was changed without informing me. I feel cheated. Would be great if i get back what i was promised.
This issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent.
