How to get auto pay discount on first bill?

Wasn't told until after signup that the $10 discount would take a couple months to take affect. Shady. Is there anyone I can speak to and have this applied immediately?

Doubtful. You have to call 1-800-VERIZON and see if it can be done faster.

it takes a few billing cycles i am reading. Pay the bill the first time and normally its in place by second invoice.
