I canceled my DSL at the end of August due to my moving to a different state. When I cancelled, I was told that I did not need to return any equipment, and if there was any surplus on my final bill, it would be returned to me.
In October, I got a final bill indicating a surplus of $47.69. When I called Verizon about this last month, I was told that this amount would be credited back to me at the next pay cycle.
However, now, I have just received my next bill, which shows a mysterious charge for "Your One-Time Activities" in exactly the amount that was due to be returned to me. Does this indicate the credit being returned to me, and if so, how and when will I receive it? If this is a charge, I can't imagine what it would be.
Thank you for your advice.
