No Internet Service, Cannot connect with Modem

After Having DSL for years. Connecting thru Westell modem, My service will not restore. I haven't been home at a decent hour to actually call. I just have DSL, no other services. My bill was on autopay. Somehow that got cancelled. Did not know it was not automatically being paid. So internet service was turned off. Paid bill manually then restored auto pay. But service has never been restored. Have rebooted Westell modem and tried everything else. No internet light at all. Am at a loss why it is not working it has worked all these years just fine. It shows I still have internet service and my next bill is in a few days. Why am I still being billed when I have never gotten my internet restored?
