Is my 2.4 GHz and my 5 GHz supposed to have the same SSID ? Both of mine are both active and have the same SSID name..Just doesn't seem right .... Thanks

Totally up to you.

You can log in to rotuer and change SSID on each freq independantly.

Default is for them to be the same.

Since they are on different Bands no.  But most other routers I've used have different names.  Makes it easier to make sure you connect to the faster 5ghz band for devices that support it.
