Securing my DSL network

Can I password secure my DSL network so that my neighbors cannot access and use it?

It would help to know at least:

#1 What is the brand and model of your modem?

#2 What is the brand and model of your router?

Do you mean wireless? 

Otherwise, no one can connect to your DSL who is not physically connected to your network or phone line.
