We just switched from Cablevision and now we can't access The United States Naval Observatory at www.usno.navy.mil/USNO? It seems to be a verizon network issue. Maybe something with my asigned public IP address. Are other Verizon customers having problems accessing The United States Naval Observatory?

Ethernet connection to Actiontec router
You can reset your WAN IP address if you think it's worth a try. To do so, power down your router overnight. Fire it back up in the morning and you should get a new IP address.
Or, to get the change to happen more quickly but with a little more effort:
At your router setup page, 192.168.1.1, go to My Network > Network Connections > Full Status > Broadband Connection (Ethernet Coax) > Settings. Next to DHCP Lease click "Release." After clicking Release, immediately power down the router.
Wait about 5 minutes, power the router back up, and you will likely have a different WAN IP address.
You can check your WAN IP address before and after at http://www.whatismyip.com/
