So I have an eero setup with 3 routers/access points. Currently I have one physically connected via ethernet to the Fios box outside. The problem is it’s in a terrible location in the house (I moved into the house like that). Not getting the best speeds on the other AP’s so I’m trying to connect one more of the AP’s to the network, the one I am trying to get connected is closer physically to the Fios box outside than the other AP that is currently connected. Is it possible to connect the second AP via ethernet to the Fios box as well?
Can you connect a second Ethernet to the Fios box (ONT)? NO, unless you are willing to pay two Fios subscription or upgrade to Fios business with double the price.
You should connect Ethernet wires from one AP to another. All APs should connect via Ethernet to the router. If the router does not have enough LAN ports, add a managed switch to bridge more ports.
