Verizon-Mcafee virus program

I need a way to add exclusion to the verizon virus program......Every good virus program provides this feature. I was transfered to India (Mcafee) the other day and spent 1 hour on the phone with a rep who then logged onto my system only to tell me OH THERE IS NO WAY TO DO THIS.... You think she would have know and not had to log in and spend the time looking for it?

My verizon virus program has found only 20 problems in the last 3 years, but my Malware program has found over 300 problems and blocked over 6000 programs from connecting to my system (in the last 3 months). Gee I wonder which program is better?????? So if I can not get my malware to run because it is interfering with my Verizon virus program should I just DUMP the virus program (stop paying the 5 bucks a months for something useless) and use Malware instead...

Or does anyone know of a workaround to add exclusions to Verizon-Mcafee virus scanner????
