WAN status down.

Hello. We have a Motorola 2247-N8 wireless router. Recently our internet connection dropped. I managed to restart the router, but on the connection information main page, it says "WAN status" is down and the PPP username and password are blank. Are these two things related? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

It may be related if your area is not an OpenPPPoE area. You can try to fill in the username and password associated with the master Verizon account for your DSL account for the PPPoE information.

If that doesn't work, please ensure your VPI/VCI Settings are set to 0/35. Failing that, contact Verizon.
