email attachment problem

I have Windows Vista 32 bit and am using IE 9 for Verizon Yahoo email.  When I try to attach a file to an email, I get an IE error message and it closes the email.  I tried uninstalling IE9 and going back to IE8 but still had the problem.  I reinstalled IE9 and still have the problem.  Has anyone else seen this, and/or can suggest a  fix?

Is this a script error by any chance? Which option are you choosing when the script error appears? If it's another error, can you provide a screenshot of the message or type it out for us?
