negative 1 download speed

have designated internet line done by Verizon,  purchased new router from Verizon, supposedly have high speed dsl @   -1 dwnld. speed. Should I go with Service electric cable?

You can't have a negative download speed. Where are you testing your speed? Are you hardwired while testing?
