set up Actiontec GT784WN-VZ-1.1.6 in bridge mode for use with own router

This should be in a file somewhere, I don't understand why Verizon can't just email it to me? I've found the setting for RFC 1483 Transparent Bridging in the Advanced Setup and tried PPPoE in my router (DD-WRT) both with and without the @verizon.net after the username with no result. What else could you need?

Amazing, how does Verizon manage to have Chat and voice support issues simultaneously!?! Disconnected calls and problems with chat same hour.

Before you swtiched your modem combo to bridge mode, did you disconnect the PPPoE / If DHCP: Release the DHCP Lease?

No, are these options within the web interface of the modem/router?

#1 Unknown since

a) I never had this router handle my public IP

b) And when I was using Verzion with this router my public IP was Static.

#2 While unknown, I would think so.
